
My interest in eating food coincides well with my wife’s increasing interest in cooking. Throw in a desire to be healthy and to run a fitness blog and it sounds like a post ready made for FitHacks. This recipe came from McCormick.com and even though it calls for a little butter and sour cream, it provides a great meal and a low calorie option for dinner.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 1/4 teaspoons McCormick® Lemon & Pepper Seasoning Salt or 1 1/4 teaspoons McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Lemon & Pepper Seasoning
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup baby carrots, quartered lengthwise
1/3 cup sliced green onion
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon McCormick® Parsley Flakes
