If you’ve been a regular FitHacks reader for any period of time, I’m sure you have already heard parts of this story. Do you have any tips on how you got started on a fitness plan? Negative advice is just as useful as positive advice – sometimes more so.

“Weighing in at 234 lbs, I finally decided to get serious about fitness. I created a simple plan of eating less and exercising more. In the practical application of this, I learned a lot about the “do’s” and “don’ts” of starting out with a fitness plan.
